Welcome!
This project came into focus as a need found within the advertising art and crate label collecting communities. American crate labels depict not only the history of its agricultural, but also the history of its commercial art. There are a few good books available about these subjects, but at this time there is not a gallery type mega-site designed to support what visual information may be available. It is the purpose of this site to do just that.
This is a huge undertaking and one that will be a project-in-the-making for some time. The Crate Label Museum gallery will be continually upgraded as we add more images from our library. We currently have over 10,000 images for this project with more being acquired. This project is only possible through the volunteer programming and financial assistance generously donated by CrateArt.com.
How you can help
If you would like to help keep this project moving forward, please donate images we may not have and/or support us by purchasing labels through CrateArt.com. Thank you for your assistance and we hope you enjoy your visit.
